Pastor Heidi Rivera-Pagan

RIVERA-PAGAN: Pastor Heidi was born in Brooklyn, N.Y., and was raised in San Juan, Puerto Rico. She and her husband Pastor Oscar Martinez began their pastoral ministry in 1993. In the year 2000 both began their missionary ministry in Spain which lasted twelve years. She loved working with the missionaries, offering them guidance, encouragement, and support.  Her main ministry was teaching children the Lord's word.  In the year 2013 she moved to Jonesboro, GA to become the main caretaker of her late mother Janet Pagan and continued her teaching ministry simultaneously.

She is survived by her loving and devoted husband of 45 years, Pastor Oscar Martinez; two sons, Ricardo Martinez and Josue Martinez; one daughter, Eunice Martinez; and two grandchildren.

One of her many favorite Bible verses was Psalm 121:2 — “My help cometh from the Lord, which made heaven and earth.”

All whom loved her dearly and will never forget her dedication, devotion, charm, grace, and undying love and caring for them.  While we grieve her passing, we take great comfort in recognizing the complete joy Heidi is experiencing in the full presence of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

“His lord said unto him, Well done, thou good and faithful servant; thou hast been faithful over a few things; I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord.”  Matthew 25:21

Pastora Heidi Rivera Pagán (junio 1956-enero 2021).

La Pastora Heidi nació en Brooklyn, Nueva York y fue criada y educada en San Juan, Puerto Rico. Ella y su esposo el Pastor Oscar Martínez comenzaron su ministerio pastoral en 1993. En el año 2000 ambos iniciaron su ministerio misionero en España, el cual duró 12 años. Ella amaba trabajar como misionera, proveyendo dirección, ánimo, y apoyo.  Su ministerio principal fue la enseñanza de la Palabra de Dios a los niños.  En el año 2013 se trasladó a Jonesboro, GA para cuidar a su ya difunta madre Janet Pagán y simultáneamente continuó con su ministerio de enseñanza bíblica. 

Uno de sus muchos versículos bíblicos favoritos era el Salmo 121:2 - "Mi socorro viene de Jehová; que hizo los cielos y la tierra."

Todos los que le conocieron y amaron, nunca olvidarán su dedicación, devoción, carisma, gracia e infinito amor por los demás.  Mientras lamentamos su pérdida, nos reconforta reconocer el gozo total que Heidi está experimentando en la presencia total de nuestro Señor y Salvador, Jesucristo. 

Su amado y devoto esposo por 45 años, Pastor Oscar Martínez; hijos: Ricardo, Eunice y Josué; nietos: Joanice y Jahaziel; y demás familiares agradecen sus condolencias y muestras de cariño ante la pérdida de su amada Heidi.

“Y su señor le dijo: Bien, buen siervo y fiel; sobre poco has sido fiel, sobre mucho te pondré; entra en el gozo de tu señor.”  Mateo 25:21
