MILLER: A Service honoring the Life and Legacy of Pastor Gabriel Miller, III of Lithonia, Georgia, the husband of Lady Frances Miller, Pastor of Lakemont Baptist Church, and Commander and Founder of Miller’s Military Academy who passed July 4, 2025, will be held Saturday, July 19, 2025, 11:00 a.m. at House of Hope Atlanta, 4650 Flat Shoals Parkway, Decatur, Georgia 30034; Dr. E. Dewey Smith, Senior Pastor; Reverend Willie S. Rockward, Officiant; and Pastor Steven Miller, Eulogist. Interment, Hillandale Memorial Gardens. Remains will lie in repose from 10:00 a.m. until the hour of service. Public viewing will be held Friday, July 18, 2025 from 10:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m. at Legacy Funeral Home, 8968 Fayetteville Road Jonesboro, Georgia. Survivors are his wife, Frances Miller; five children, Falencia Miller, Laneisha Miller, Gabriel Miller IV, Timothy Miller, and Titus Miller; grandchildren, Journee Mahoney, Legend Mahoney, Marcellus Donovant, Gracelyn Miller, Alianna Miller, and Sevin Miller; parents, Gabriel (Florena) Miller, Jr.; siblings, Pamela Foster, Steven (Audrey) Miller, Vincent (Michelle) Miller, Gregory (Chelsea) Miller, and Shannon (Sherri) Miller; and a host of in-laws, adopted children, students, cadets, mentees, church family, nieces, nephews, other loving relatives and friends. Family and friends are asked to assemble at the church at 10:30 a.m.
