HAMMOND: A Service honoring the Life and Spirit of Mrs. Yvonne Hammond of Ellenwood, Georgia who passed June 25, 2026 will be held Tuesday, July 7, 2026, 12:00 noon at Kennedy Memorial Gardens in the John F. Kennedy Mausoleum Chapel, 2500 River Road Ellenwood, Georgia; Bishop Collier Starks, Officiant and Eulogist. Interment to follow. Viewing will be held Monday, July 6, 2026 from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Legacy Funeral Home, 8968 Fayetteville Road Jonesboro, Georgia. Survivors are her children, Eugene Haywood and Kimberly Miles; grandchildren, Rashaunda Haywood, Charles DeShon Haywood, Crystal Ann Haywood, LaQuita Miles, Terinda Haywood, Tanika Miles, Demetrius Haywood, and Shannon Haywood; and a host of great grandchildren, other loving relatives and friends. Family and friends are asked to assemble at the chapel at 11:45 a.m.
