FOREHAND: A Service Celebrating the Life and Spirit of Ms. Tanyshia Lanette Forehand of Lithonia, Georgia who passed June 26, 2026, will be held Thursday, July 2, 2026, 11:00 a.m. at Legacy Funeral Home Chapel, 8968 Fayetteville Road, Jonesboro, Georgia; Bishop Collier Starks Officiant with Rev. Curtis Taylor, Eulogist. Interment, Sand Hill CME Church Cemetery 395 Brent Road, Barnesville, Georgia. A visitation will be held Wednesday, July 1, 2026 from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.at Legacy Funeral Home Chapel. A Zeta Sorority Ceremony will be held from 5:00-6:00 p.m. in the chapel. Survivors are her father, Mr. Eddie Forehand; aunts, Jeanette Ivory, Carolyn Evans, Janet Adudu'Oke, Ann (Toyin) Raji; uncles, Jimmy Forehand, Felton (Patricia) Forehand, Curtis (Patricia) Taylor, Cecil ( Linda) Taylor; special friends, LaRonda Hollis, Rashona Rixter, Tchiana Williams, Nyia Smith, Kaylen Adudu'Oke, Miss Diamond Carr & Jamelia Purdue; along with a host of other loving relatives and close friends. Family and friends are asked to assemble in the chapel at 10:30 a.m.
