DAY: A Homegoing Celebration honoring the Life and Spirit of Ms. Katherine Day Atlanta, Georgia who passed April 24, 2026  will be held   Tuesday, May 12, 2026 11:00 a.m. at World Changers Church, 2500 Burdett Road College Park, Georgia; Dr. Creflo Dollar, Senior Pastor and Pastor Carol Jones, Officiant and Eulogist. Interment, private. Survivors are her mother, Pastor Oretha Layne; sisters, Minister Deloris Herron, and Mrs. Shirley Jones; brother, Mr. Lovell J. Day; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, other extended family and friends. Family and friends are asked to assemble at the church at 10:30 a.m.
