BAPTISTE: A  Celebration Service honoring the Life and Essence of Ms. Elcina Baptiste of Dominica who resided in Riverdale, Georgia who passsed December 24, 2024 will be held Friday, January 17, 2025, 12 p.m. at St. Philip Benizi Catholic Church, 591 Flint River Road, Jonesboro, Georgia 30238. Remains will lie in repose from 11:00 a.m. until the hour of service. Interment, private. A viewing will be held Thursday, January 16, 2025, 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Legacy Funeral Home Chapel, 8968 Fayetteville Road, Jonesboro, Georgia. Survivors include her children: Everton (Deli) Bradshaw, Knowles Bradshaw, Danny (Candy) Prosper, Jackie (Eddie) Bradshaw-Santiago, Debbie (Clem) Bradshaw-Felix, Gale Bradshaw-Joseph, and Edy (Phillip) Bradshaw-Key. Her legacy continues through her 15 grandchildren: Lee and Lisa Serrant, Kevin and Kishuna Joseph; Rasheen, Jevon, Parisa, and Layla Bradshaw; Keyanah, Kadell, and Kell Key; Shahida and Shanyra Santiago; Leila and Liam Prosper. Elcina is also survived by 13 great-grandchildren. Siblings: Greena John-Baptiste, as well as the late Francis Nicholas, Green, Emory, Elisha, Ariel Baptiste, and Bernice Myler. Family and friends are asked to assemble at the church at 11:30 a.m.
