JONES: A Service honoring the Life and Essence of Ms. Dorothy Jones of Atlanta, Georgia will be held Saturday, December 31, 2022, 11:00 a.m. at Emmanuel Baptist Church, 1582 Benjamin Weldon Bickers Dr., SE Atlanta, Georgia; Pastor Ethel Bickers, officiant and eulogist. Interment, private. Remains will lie in repose from 10:00 a.m. until the hour of service. Viewing will be held Friday, December 30, 2022 from 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Legacy Funeral Home Chapel, 8968 Fayetteville Road Jonesboro, Georgia. Survivors are: her sister, Driedree Jones Raglin; grandmother, May Francis Ragland; aunt, Carol Ragland; nieces, Jasmine Jones Ransom, and Kristian Sanford; great nephew, Jayden Jones; great niece, Taylor Jones Ransom; and a host of cousins, other relatives and friends. Family and friends are asked to assemble at the church at 10:30 a.m.
