MERRITT: A Homegoing Celebration for Ms. Diamond Inez Merritt of Atlanta, Georgia will be held Sunday, July 11, 2021, 2:00p.m. at Legacy Funeral Home Chapel, 8968 Fayetteville Road Jonesboro, Georgia; Minister Reginald Smith, officiating. Interment, College Park Cemetery. Survivors are her mother, Desiree Merritt; father, Warren Arnez Merritt, Sr.; siblings, Dominique McBride, Shatavia McBride-Winston, Antwonette Hill-Robinson, Ambra Hill, Andrea’ Hill, Vincent McBride, Antwone Hill, Toshiba Merritt, Warren Arnez Merritt, Jr., Da’Shanti Merritt, and D’Asia Merritt; godmother/aunt, Angie (Tony) Weakley; grandparents, Bernice (Reginald) Smith; uncles, John (Makiba) McBride, Jr., and Bernard Merritt; aunt, Yolanda Neely; and a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, other family and friends. Family and friends are asked to assemble at the chapel at 1:30p.m.
