BENSON: A Service in Loving Memory of Mother Viola Benson of Fayetteville, Georgia who transitioned September 21, 2025 will be held Saturday, October 11, 2025, 11:00 a.m. at Legacy Funeral Home Chapel, 8968 Fayetteville Road Jonesboro, Georgia; Pastor Carol Jones, Officiant and Eulogist. Interment, private. Survivors are her children, Debra (Richard) Stevens, Mark Benson, Gina (Donald) Blackstone, Carmen (Devin) Armstrong, and Laura (Clifford) Jay; twenty-four grandchildren, twenty-nine great-grandchildren, one great-great grandchild, siblings, Gloria McCrary, Virginia Gresham, and Eloise Lawrence; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other loving relatives and friends. Family and friends are asked to assemble at the chapel at 10:30 a.m.
