RUSSELL: A Service honoring the Life and Spirit of Mrs. Thelma Elaine Russell of Jonesboro, Georgia who passed April 21, 2022 will be held Saturday, April 30, 2022, 1:00 p.m. at Legacy Funeral Home Chapel, 8968 Fayetteville Road Jonesboro, Georgia; Bishop Collier Starks, officiating. Interment, Sherwood Memorial Gardens. Viewing will be held Friday, April 29, 2022 from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Legacy Chapel. Survivors are her eight children, Ms. Sandra Head, Ms. Vanessa Williams (Dennis Long), Mr. and Mrs. Edward Russell (Angela), Ms. Veronica Russell, Mr. and Mrs. Tony Russell (Barbaretta), Mr. Reginald Russell, Mr. and Mrs. Gary Russell (Brenda) and Mr. Donald Thomas; one sister, Deborah Newton (James); one brother, Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Jenkins (Joyce); thirty-three grandchildren, thirty-one great grandchildren, ten great-great grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews, other family and friends. Family and friends are asked to assemble at the chapel at 12:30 p.m.
