RUSHING: A Celebration Service honoring the Life and Legacy of Mrs. Rhonda Pearl Griffin Rushing of Riverdale, Georgia will be held Monday, August 5, 2024, 1:00 p.m. at Light of Joy Church, 7458 Highway 85 Riverdale, Georgia; Dr. Frank Salters, Senior Pastor, Officiant and Eulogist. Interment, Friday, August 9, 2024, Philadelphia, Mississippi. Viewing will be held Sunday, August 4, 2024 from 10:00a.m. to 4:00p.m. at Legacy Funeral Home Chapel, 8968 Fayetteville Road Jonesboro, Georgia. Survivors are her husband, Edward Rushing; children, Brandon (Taylor) Phillip Hill, and Kristina Beamon; mother, Clemitine Griffin; three sisters, Marilyn Wyatt, Darlene (Tommy) Burnside and June (Tommy) Griffin-Houston; sister-in-law, Elaine (DeWitt) Williams; and a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews, Light of Joy Church Family, other loving relatives and friends. Family and friends are asked to assemble at the church at 12:30 p.m.
