HOLMES: A Service honoring the Life and Spirit of Mrs. Marilyn Bernice Holmes of Jonesboro, Georgia will be held Tuesday, January 10, 2023, 11:00 a.m. at Legacy Funeral Home Chapel, 8968 Fayetteville Road Jonesboro, Georgia; Bishop Donald E. Battle, Eulogist and Pastor Carol Jones, Officiant. Viewing will be held Monday, January 9, 2023 from 12:00 noon to 6:00 p.m. at Legacy Chapel. Interment, Camp Memorial Park. Survivors are her husband, Clement Amory; son, Myles (Donna) Holmes III; her daughter, Sonja (Frederick) Soles; seven grandchildren, Niska (Carlos) Soles-Raymond, Erinn (Shane) Soles-Epps, Lauren Soles, Ashton Soles, Daniyel Holmes, Ayanna (Quentin) Kelso, and Imani Rasheed) Salau; great grandchildren, Audrey Epps, Hunter Epps, David Kelso, and Ava Kelso; sister, Wilma (Roudette) Yearwood; brothers, Preston (Yolanda) Hendrickson, Irvin (Carol) Hendrickson, Shervin (Diane) Hendrickson; and a host of other loving relatives and friends.
