EVANS: A Service honoring the Life and Essence of Mrs. Jessie Marie Evans of McDonough, Georgia who passed August 19, 2024 will be held Thursday, August 29, 2024, 11:00 a.m. at Legacy Funeral Home Chapel, 8968 Fayetteville Road, Jonesboro, Georgia; Rev. Dr. Eric G. Vickers, Sr., Officiant & Eulogist. Interment, private. Viewing will be held Wednesday, August 28, 2024 from 9:00 a.m. until the 6:00 p.m. at Legacy Funeral Home. Survivors are her daughter, Sheila (Alvin) Jenkins; sister, Belinda (Harvey) Edwards; brother, Gregory Vaughan; grandchildren, Erik Gray, and Briana Jenkins; great grandchildren, Peyton Gray, and Kade Hockaday; nieces, Evangelyn (Greg) Harris, Jacqueline Bradley, and Laura June Alexander; nephew, Glenn Vaughan; and a host of other relatives and friends. Family and friends are asked to assemble at the chapel at 10:45 a.m.
