DAVIS: A Service honoring the Life and Essence of Mrs. Evalyne Davis of Stonecrest, Georgia who passed January 3, 2025 will be held Sunday, January 19, 2025, 2:00 p.m. at Maranatha Seventh-day Adventist Church, 2730 Browns Mill Road, SE Atlanta, Georgia 30354; Pastor Daniel Kelly, Jr. Senior Pastor,  Pastor Christopher Crumbie, Associate Pastor, Pastor Derrin Davis, Officiant and Pastor Calvin B. Preston, Eulogist. Interment, Georgia National Cemetery. Remains will lie in repose from 12:00 noon until the hour of service. Viewing will be held Saturday, January 18, 2025 from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Legacy Funeral Home, 8968 Fayetteville Road Jonesboro, Georgia. Survivors are her husband, Artie Davis; two children, Donna Davis, and Artie (April) Davis II; grandchildren, Tatyana Hunt, Jacob Hunt, Alani Davis, Amaya Davis, and Ariana Davis; great grandchildren, Jayci Jackson, and Amour Harris-Hunt; brothers, Thomas Yates, and Brennan Yates; sisters-in-law, Pinkie Cleveland, Ocie Yates, and Johnnye Yates; brother-in-law, Arthur Isom; goddaughters, Cindi Richardson, and Marqueitta Gray; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other loving relatives and friends. Family and friends are asked to assemble at the church at 1:30 p.m.
