RAY: A Celebration Service honoring the Life and Legacy of Mrs. Donnie Evans Ray will be held Tuesday, June 30, 2020, 2:00 p.m. at Legacy Chapel, 8968 Fayetteville Road Jonesboro, Georgia; Pastor Reginald B. Newman, officiating. Interment, private. Donnie will be remembered lovingly by her husband of 34 years, Larry Edsel Ray; her sister, Mary Evans Sias and her husband (Shadrach S. Sias); her brother, Leonard Augusta Evans and his wife (Ethylean Evans); her nieces, Adrienne M. Sias, Anndrea Williams and Gabrielle Williams; nephews, David C. Evans, Leonard A. Evans, Jr. and Stephen Williams; her sister-in-law, Sharon Williams; Debra Robinson and Ann Miller (a cousin and close friend, respectively, who were always almost like sisters); and a host of dear friends and students she taught. Family and friends are asked to assemble at the chapel at 1:30 p.m.
