PRESCOTT: A Service honoring the Life and Legacy of Mrs. Betty Jean Mims Prescott of Fairburn, Georgia formerly of Augusta, Georgia who passed February 1, 2024 will be held Saturday, February 10, 2024, 12:00 noon at Tabernacle Baptist Church, 1223 Laney Walker Blvd., Augusta, Georgia 30901; Reverend Dr. Charles E. Goodman, Jr., Senior Pastor and Dr. Wanda Richardson, Officiant and Eulogist. Interment, Sunday, February 11, 2024, New Faith Baptist Church Cemetery, Lyman, South Carolina. Survivors are her son, William (Janice) Prescott, Jr.; sisters, Epsylean Mims Evans and Elnita (Benjamin) Mims Smith; brother, Andrew (Bobbie Jean) Mims; grandchildren, William (Cachet) Prescott, III, Brittany (Kevin) Elizabeth McIntyre, and Shayla (Dominique) S. Appling; three great-grandchildren, Sarai, Saren, and Sage; and a host of nieces, nephews, other loving relatives and friends. Family and friends are asked to assemble at the church at 11:30 a.m.
