DEEWAA TIEKU: A Service honoring the Life and Essence of Mrs. Awura Deewaa Tieku of Stockbridge, Georgia who passed June 29, 2026 will be held Saturday, August 1, 2026, 10:00 a.m. at Legacy Funeral Home Chapel, 8968 Fayetteville Road, Jonesboro,  Georgia; Very Rev. Thomas Atta-Akosah, Rev. Comfort Opoku-Acheampong, and Pastor Frank Sarpong, officiants. Interment, Lakeside Memorial Gardens. A viewing will be from 9:00 a.m. until the hour of service. Survivors are her soulmate, Stephen Tieku; three beloved, Isaac Tieku, Pomaah Tieku, and Botuaah Tieku; and a host of other loving family and friends. Family and friends are asked to assemble at the chapel at 9:00 a.m.
