WASHINGTON: A Service honoring the Life and Essence of Mrs. Andretta D. Washington of Riverdale, Georgia who passed June 30, 2025 will be held Saturday, July 19, 2025, 11:00 a.m. at Lakewin Christian Center, 6449 Church Street Riverdale, Georgia; Pastor Harry Riley, Eulogist and Pastor David Rocker, Officiant. Interment, Sherwood Memorial Park. A Viewing will be held Friday, July 18, 2025 from 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Legacy Funeral Chapel, 8968 Fayetteville Road Jonesboro, Georgia. Survivors are Tanika D. (Tariq) Hampton Hassan and Kim Renee’ Hampton; mother, Rev. Dr. Ida Jackson; father, Rev. Andrew J. Sampson, Sr.; sister, LyCynthia (Terry) Sampson Baskin; grandchildren, Zion S. Hampton-Thompson, and Zyeir A. J. Hampton-Snowden; niece, Rachel (Cedric) Baskin Gray; and a host of other loving relatives and friends. Family and friends are asked to assemble at the church at 10:30 a.m.
