POWELL: A Celebration Service honoring the life of Mrs. Amy R. Powell of Jonesboro, Georgia who passed March 3, 2026 will be held Friday, March 13, 2026, 11:00 a.m. at Legacy Funeral Home Chapel, 8968 Fayetteville Road Jonesboro, Georgia; Rev. Bryan Allen, Officiant and Dr. Dana Powell Baker, Eulogist. Interment, Monday, March 16, 2026, Georgia National Cemetery. A viewing will be held Thursday, March 12, 2026 from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Legacy Chapel. Survivors are; three daughters, Demitri Powell, Dr. Dana (Daryl) Powell Baker, and Monique Powell; two granddaughters, Courtney Bostic, and Darah Baker; siblings, Jacqueline Davis, Ernestine (Berle) Williams, Calvin Owens, and William (Shari) Owens;  grandpuppy, Raza; and a host of other loving relatives and friends.
