EVANS: A Celebration Service honoring the Life and Legacy of Mrs. Alfredia Lane-Evans of Atlanta, Georgia who passed September 29, 2025 will be held Tuesday, October 7, 2025 1:00 p.m. at Legacy Funeral Home Chapel, 8968 Fayetteville Road Jonesboro, Georgia; Rev. Dr. Marlon Ector, Offciant with Rev. Norman Roberts, Eulogist. Interment, Lakeside Memorial Gardens 7780 Ono Road Palmetto, Georgia. A viewing will take place Monday, October 6, 2025 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Legacy Funeral Home Chapel. She will be forever cherished by her husband, Mr. David Evans; her mother, Georgia Lane; three daughters, Valerie Page, Tamika (Travis) Brown, Blonitha (Charles) Baitey; four sons, Paul Mathis, Brandon Mathis, Christtopher Mathis, and David (Pearl) Evans Jr.; one sister, Sandie Brown; one brother, Erskine (Diane) Lane; fourteen grandchildren; two great grandchildren, and a host of other close relatives and friends. Family and friends are asked to assemble at the Chapel at 12:45 p.m.
