JOHNSON: A Celebration Service honoring the Life and Legacy of Mr. Willie Paul Johnson, Jr. of Union City, Georgia who passed May 1, 2025 will be  held Friday, May 9, 2025, 11:00 a.m. at Union Grove Baptist Church, 6591 T. A. Davis Street, Union City, Georgia; Rev. John Menefee, Pastor and Officiant and Apostle Kenneth Bailey, Eulogist. Interment, Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens. Remains will lie in repose from 9:00 a.m. until the hour of service. Viewing will be held Thursday, May 8, 2025 from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Legacy Funeral Home, 8968 Fayetteville Road, Jonesboro, Georgia. Survivors are; four sons, Paul Dexter Wisdom, Kenneth (Valeria) Johnson, Willie Paul (Adiaha) Johnson, III and Xavier Johnson; sister, Rose Sylvester, Emma Johnson, and Annette Johnson; brother, Eddie Roy (Linda) Johnson; nine grandchildren; and a host of great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, other loving relatives and friends. Family and friends are asked to assemble at the church at 10:30 a.m.
