APPLEBY: A Celebration Service honoring the Life and Legacy of Mr. Vernon Appleby of Fairburn, Georgia who passed May 25, 2025 will be held Saturday, May 31, 2025, 1:00 p.m. at Legacy Funeral Home, Inc. 8968 Fayetteville Road Jonesboro, Georgia; Rev. Dr. Eric G. Vickers Officiant, Bishop Matthew Little Eulogist. Interment, Forest Hills Memorial Gardens 722 Conley Road, Forest Park Georgia. A public viewing will be held Friday, May 30, 2025 from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Legacy Funeral Home. He will be cherished by his siblings, Carol (Laferron) Miles, Vanessa Appleby, John Appleby, Mark (Shanterry) Appleby; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other loving relatives and friends. Family and friends are asked to assemble at the chapel at 12:45 p.m.
