BYRD: A Homegoing Celebration for Mr. Russell W. Byrd of Hampton, Georgia will be Sunday, January 17, 2021, 1:30 p.m. at Legacy Chapel, 8968 Fayetteville Road Jonesboro, Georgia; Bishop Albert J. Lindsey, officiating; Apostle Curtis Watkins, eulogist. Interment, Tuesday, January 19, 2021, St. Marks Church Cemetery Reeseville, South Carolina. Survivors are his wife, Brittany Byrd; son, Noah Byrd; daughters, Addyson Byrd, and Kyndell Byrd; sisters, Gloria Thomas (Frank), Stella Byrd, Tenia Gray, Carolyn Vinson (John), Laquesha Riley, Crystal Simon, Lavonne Miller, Monnique Johnson (Damon), and Tameka Kemp; brothers, Alfred Byrd, Jr., Keyovonte Jennings, Dyll Hicks, Troy Johnson (Tammey), and Russell Simon; and a host of other loving relatives and friends. Family and friends are asked to assemble at the chapel at 1:00 p.m.
