ABERNATHY: A Graveside Service honoring the Life and Legacy of Mr. Robert Abernathy, Jr. of Columbus, Georgia will be held Saturday, January 7, 2023, 1:00 p.m. at Green Acres Cemetery, 1485 Schatulga Road Columbus, Georgia; Reverend Gil Lynch, officiant. Interment, to follow. Survivors are his children, Lamont, Brian, Shandel, Jamaal, Adrian and Nadja; twenty grandchildren, one great-great grandchild, siblings, Melissa Taylor and Curtis Abernathy; and a host of nieces, nephews and special friends. Family and friends are asked to assemble at the gravesite at 12:30 p.m.
