SIMS: A Service honoring the Life and Legacy of Mr. Phillip Arnold Sims of Fayetteville, Georgia who passed July 24, 2026, will be held Thursday, August 6, 2026, 12:00 noon at World Changers Church International, 2500 Burdett Road College Park, Georgia; Dr. Creflo Dollar, Senior Pastor and Pastor Carol Jones, Officiant and Eulogist. Interment, 10:30 a.m. at Westminster Memorial Park, 2090 Georgia Highway 54 Peachtree City, Georgia. A Viewing will be held Wednesday, August 5, 2026 from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Legacy Chapel, 8968 Fayetteville Road Jonesboro, Georgia. Survivors are his beloved wife, Mattie Sims; a devoted daughter, Shannon Sims-Colbert; his treasured grandson, Parker Colbert; his son-in-law, Timothy Arnold; his brothers, Donald Sims (Eunice), Leonard Sims (Naomi), and Gerald Sims; his sister, Glynda Pettis (Tyree); along with a host of nieces, nephews, extended family, other relatives and friends.
