(The Temporal and Eternal)
5 For we know that if the earthly tent [our physical body] which is our house is torn down [through death], we have a building from God, a house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens. 2 For indeed in this house we groan, longing to be clothed with our [immortal, eternal] celestial dwelling, 3 so that by putting it on we will not be found naked. 4 For while we are in this tent, we groan, being burdened [often weighed down, oppressed], not that we want to be unclothed [separated by death from the body], but to be clothed, so that what is mortal [the body] will be swallowed up by life [after the resurrection]. 5 Now He who has made us and prepared us for this very purpose is God, who gave us the [Holy] Spirit as a pledge [a guarantee, a down payment on the fulfillment of His promise].
6 So then, being always filled with good courage and confident hope, and knowing that while we are at home in the body we are absent from the Lord— 7 for we walk by faith, not by sight [living our lives in a manner consistent with our confident belief in God’s promises]— 8 we are [as I was saying] of good courage and confident hope, and prefer rather to be absent from the body and to be at home with the Lord.

II Corinthians 5:1-8

Cookie, the last time I saw you was when my grandmother, Evelyn, passed away in 97’. You and all the family came to Joliet for her service. Within the last year or so I had reconnected with you on Facebook but I wish it was more. I have mixed emotions. Mixed because, knowing that you’re a born again Christian, to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord. I know God’s living word to be truth and stand by God’s promising. I rejoice in the fact that you’re now with our Lord and savior, Jesus Christ. On the other hand, my only regret is that I never took the time to appreciate you, to reach out and get to know you and that pain hurts me the most. My deepest and sincere condolences to all of my family. Praying for God’s comfort, healing and peace to be with you all during this difficult time. Cuz, until we meet again... with love, in Jesus Christ, Falaksher.

Cookie, the last time I saw you was when my grandmother Evelyn passed away in 97'. You and all the family came to Joliet. A year or so ago I had spoken to you for the first time since my grandmother's passing. Upon hearing the news of your passing I had mixed emotions. Mixed because being born again by the blood of Jesus Christ, I know that God's word says to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord and I know God's words to be true. I know you're rejoicing with our savior right now but on the other hand, my only regret is that I didn't take the time to get to know you and be a part of your life and that pains me the most. Praying for God's comfort, healing and peace for my family during this time. Until we meet again, cuz. With love, in Jesus Christ, Falaksher.
