SCOTT: A Private Service Celebrating the Life of Mr. Martrice Matthew Scott, III will be held Saturday, August 28, 2021, 2:00 p.m. at World Changers Church International, Chapel, 2500 Burdett Road, South Fulton, Georgia 30349; Dr. Creflo A. Dollar, Senior Pastor; Pastor Carol Jones, officiating. Survivors are his loving wife of 27 years, Joan Carmella Scott; one daughter, Marissa Scott; one son, Evyn Scott; mother, Reverend Aline Perkins Scott; one brother, Marcus (Shantell) Scott; niece, Jermillya Farris; nephews, Marcus Alexander Scott, Jr., and Ashton Scott; and a host of aunts, uncles, other nieces, other nephews, cousins and friends.

Matt had a passion for music. He enjoyed music of all styles and had a massive music collection. Out of a desire to serve God through music, he served on the World Changers Marietta praise team. Matt loved muscle cars and motorcycles; the faster, the better. Matt fueled his passion by attending car shows and races. In addition to that, he was an avid collector of diecast cars. One of his greatest joys was taking his family to the National Corvette Museum in Bowling Green, Kentucky. Another joy of his was driving the epic Tail of the Dragon at Deals Gap.
