WALKER: A Celebration of Life Service for Mr. Marcus James Walker of Union City, Georgia will be held Monday, November 25, 2019, 11:00 a.m. at Woods Memorial Baptist Church, 5665 Old National Highway College Park, Georgia; Pastor Toney Mosley, officiating. Interment, South-View Cemetery. Remains will in repose from 9:00 a.m. until the hour of service. The family will receive friends Sunday evening November 24, 2019 at Legacy Funeral Home Chapel, 8968 Fayetteville Rd., Jonesboro, Georgia from 4 to 5 p.m. Survivors are his mother, Mr. and Mrs. James (Mary) Major; father, Mr. Dennis James Walker; companion, Sonsearai Hackett; parents-in-love, Mr. and Mrs. Gorman (Julia) Hackett; sister-in-love, Tifarah Hackett; step-sisters, Delia Major and Alexis Major; aunts, Murphilene Bell, Murl (Robert) Hill, Shirley Smith, Ella Dickens and Jennifer (Jay) Brown; uncles, Roy (Shirley) Evans, and Odis (Althea) Evans; and a host of cousins and friends. Family and friends are asked to assemble at the church at 10:30 a.m.
