Mr. Leroy Leary

LEARY:  A Homegoing Celebration honoring the Life and Legacy of Mr. Leroy "Pete" Leary of Montezuma, Georgia will be held Friday, September 4, 2020, 1:00 p.m. graveside at Bethlehem Baptist Church Cemetery, 125 Behtlehem Rd., Byromville, Georgia; Pastor Jerry Sanders, officiating. Interment to follow. Viewing will be held Thursday, September 3, 2020 from 9:00 a.m. to 6 p.m. at Legacy Funeral Home, 8968 Fayetteville Rd., Jonesboro, Georiga; and Friday, September 4, 2020 from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at graveside. Survivors are his loving daughter, Donyeatta “Bay-Bay” Jones of Atlanta, Georgia; former companion, Donna Jones of Atlanta, Georgia; four brothers, N.C. Leary, A.C. Leary both of Montezuma, Georgia, Johnny B. Leary (Sandra) and Jerry Leary (Mary) both of Riverdale, Georgia; three sisters, Pastor Jessie Mae Leary Snipes of Atlanta, Georgia, Esther Leary Wiggins of Columbus, Georgia, and Rosie Lee Leary Briley of Montezuma, Georgia; one sister-in-law, Clara Bell Leary of Warner Robins, Georgia;a devoted nephew, Nathaniel Cedric Leary; and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins, other relatives and many sorrowing friends. Family and friends are asked to assemble at the gravesite at 12:30 p.m.
