Mr. Joseph D. Jett, Jr.

JETT: Joseph Dean Jett, Jr., age 57, of McDonough, Georgia entered into rest on March 21, 2021. Born, August 1, 1963; in Monroe LA, Son of Mrs. Gloria Williams and the late Joseph Jett Sr. Survivors are his wife, Icelda Jett; two daughters Doneshia Jett-Williams, Angel Jett and a host of step children, parents; Larence and Gloria Williams, sisters; Brenda Jett-Bruce and Sandra Jett, brother in law Sylvester V. Bruce and brother/friend; Devin Denman and many other family members and acquaintances who will sadly miss him. Mr. Jett was a proud serviceman, he served 3 tours of duty in the United States Army. His first enlistment in 1981, and after serving 5 years he enlisted in the Army Reserve; his second enlistment in 2003 he served in Iraq, and his third enlistment in 2005 he served in Afghanistan. After his service he took advantage of the GI Bill and earned his Associate Degree at the Strayer University in Computer Administration. He loved all things computers and was the families leading tech GURU. He cherished his wife of 14 years, Mrs. Icelda, of whom she regards as a great Husband, Partner and Friend; they were definitely one flesh, and his love for his children, family and friends was unwavering. Matthew 25:23.., “WELL DONE MY GOOD AND FAITHFUL SERVANT”… A private interment will be held at Georgia Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Milledgeville, Georgia.
