DORSEY: A service honoring the Life and Legacy of Mr. John Dorsey of Atlanta, Georgia who passed May 2, 2024, will be held Saturday, May 11, 2024, 11 a.m. at Legacy Funeral Home, Inc, 8968 Fayetteville Road, Jonesboro, Georgia; Pastor David Martin Officiant, Minister Calandra Gantt Eulogist. Interment, Carver Memorial Gardens 350 Upper Riverdale Road. A public viewing will take place Friday, May 10, 2024 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at Legacy Funeral Home, Inc. John leaves to cherish in memories five daughters, Tamara Dorsey, Nadine Hickson, Tonette Martin (David), Yolanda Walker, Calandra Gantt. One son, Roderick Deon Dorsey, two brothers, Terry Dorsey (Willie Mae) and Thomas Dorsey, Sr. one sister, Linda Cunningham. Seven grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family, and friends. Family and friends are asked to assemble at the chapel at 10:45 a.m.
