FITZGIBBON: A Mass Service for Mr. John L. Fitzgibbon of McDonough, Georgia who passed away September 30, 2023 will be held Monday, October 16, 2023, 10:30 am at St. Phillip Benizi Catholic Church, 591 Flint River Road, Jonesboro, Georgia followed lunch in the hall. Final rites will be given at 3:00 pm at Honey Creek Monastery. Mr. Fitzgibbon is survived by his grandchildren, Frank Weiss, Matthew Zitzmann, Suzanne Roveto and her husband Bobby Roveto; great grandson, RJ Roveto; brothers, Colonel James Fitzgibbon USAF, retired, and Thomas Fitzgibbon (companion, Nilda Mejias); sister, Elizabeth Butler; nieces, Eileen Sullivan (husand Terry), Kathleen Todd (husband, David), Maureen Taylor (husband, Brit), and Megan Anderson (husband, Keith); nephew, Jimmy Fitzgibbon. Family and friends are asked to assemble at the church at 10:00 a.m.
