CURETON: A Service In Loving Memory of Mr. John Porter Cureton, Sr. of Peachtree City, Georgia who passed January 31, 2025 will be held Saturday, February 8, 2025, 11:00 a.m. at Cornerstone Baptist Church, 640 Ebenezer Church Road Fayetteville, GA 30215; Pastor Augustus T. Curry, Senior Pastor & Officiant and Reverend John P. Cureton, II, Eulogist. Interment, Westminster Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Friday evening, February 7, 2025 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Cornerstone Baptist Church. Remains will lie in repose for viewing Saturday, February 8, 2025 from 9:00 a.m. until the hour of service. Survivors are his wife, Carolyn Cureton; children, Tonya (Augustus) Cureton Curry, and John P. (Keisha) Cureton, II; grandchildren, Sarah, Maria, John, Joshua, and Gabriel; and a host other loving relatives and friends. Family and friends are asked to assemble at the church at 10:30 a.m.

 

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that any financial contributions in memory of John Porter Cureton, Sr. can be made to Johnson C. Smith University or the National Kidney Foundation.
