WILLIAMS: A Service honoring the Life and Legacy of Mr. Jamil Williams of Union City, Georgia who passed July 27, 2026 will be held Saturday, August 8, 2026, 11:00 a.m. at Philadelphia Independent Church of God In Christ, 3305 Old Jonesboro Road, Fairburn, Georgia; Pastor Marlon Favors, Officiant and  Pastor Jason Paggett, Eulogist. Interment, Mount Harmony Memorial Gardens. A viewing will be held Friday, August 7, 2026 from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Legacy Funeral Home, 8968 Fayetteville Road Jonesboro, Georgia. Survivors are his wife, Stephanie Griggs; two sons, Robert O’Neal and Joshua Hales; mother, Lavern Relaford; father, Charles (Mildred) Bacon, Sr.; sisters, Misty (Paul) Bacon-Leveille, Hope (Josh) Bacon-Ellison, Christee Bacon, and Erica Relaford; brother, Charles Bacon, Jr., and Rodrick Bacon; and a host of other loving relatives and friends. Family and friends are asked to assemble at the church at 10:30 a.m.
