SMITH: A Homegoing Celebration for Mr. James L. Smith formerly of New York will be held Friday, May 22, 2020, 11:00 a.m. at Legacy Funeral Home Chapel, 8968 Fayetteville Rd., Jonesboro, Georgia Pastor Carol L. Jones, officiating; Minister Vic Bolton, eulogist. Interment, Lakeside Memorial Gardens. Survivors are his wife, Stella Smith; daughter, Jastone Smith; son, Troi Smith; sisters, Cynthia Jackson (Ricky) and Bernice Ashe (Scott); two grandchildren; Jaquaye and TréJon; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Family and friends are asked to assemble at the chapel at 10:30 a.m.
