MAJOR: A service honoring the Life and Legacy of Mr. James Milton Major of Union City, Georgia, who passed June 26, 2025, will be held Thursday, July 10, 2025 11:00 a.m. at Woods Memorial Baptist Church 5665 Old National Hwy, Atlanta, Georgia; Rev. Sammie Haskin Officiant with Rev. Timothy Bullock Eulogist. Interment, South-View Cemetery. A public viewing will be held Wednesday, July 9, 2025 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Legacy Funeral Home, Inc. 8968 Fayetteville Road, Jonesboro, Georgia. Survivors are his wife, Mary Major; daughters, Delia Major, Alexis Major; siblings; Jennifer (Jay) Brown, Willie "Horse" Logan; grandchildren, Siehara Major, Gregory Montgomery, Lillian Rogers, Jonathan Major; along with a host of other loving relatives and friends. Family and friends are asked to assemble at the church by 10:45 a.m.
