LAWSON: A Celebration Service honoring the Life and Legacy of Mr. James L. Lawson, II of Atlanta, Georgia who passed September 19, 2024 will be held Thursday, September 26, 2024, 11:00 a.m. at Restoration and Deliverance Church of God In Christ, 5370 Ash Street Forest Park, Georgia; Pastor William Wynn, officiant and eulogist. Entombment, Westview Cemetery. A viewing will be held Wednesday, September 25, 2024 from 9:00 to 6:00 p.m. at Legacy Funeral Home, 8968 Fayetteville Road Jonesboro, Georgia. Survivors are Five children, Ambreyana Lawson, James Lawson III, Gabriel Woods, Jacqueslyn Woods, and Constance Lawson; father, James Lawson, Sr.; sister, Audrey Lawson; and a host of cousins, other loving relatives and friends. Family and friends are asked to assemble at the residence at 9:00 a.m. In honor of his celebration attendees can wear blue or orange.
