BROWN: A Service honoring the Life and Legacy of Mr. James D. Brown of East Point, Georgia formerly of Brooklyn, New York will be held Saturday, February 3, 2024, 4:00 p.m. at Legacy Funeral Home Chapel, 8968 Fayetteville Road, Jonesboro, Georgia; Bishop Collier Starks, officiant. Interment, Tuesday, February 6, 2024, Brooklyn, New York. Viewing will be held Friday, February 2, 2024 from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Legacy Funeral Home Chapel. Survivors are his children, James Daniel Brown, Jr., Margo Estelle (Gregory) Brown Norman, Buwan (Derrick) Smedley, Tomiya Brown, Margaret Brown, Thomas Brown and Frank Brown; close friend, Mae Harden; twenty-two grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, and a host of other loving relatives and friends. Family and friends are asked to assemble at the chapel at 3:30 p.m.
