PORTER: A Service honoring the Life and Legacy of Mr. Gary Porter of Jonesboro, Georgia who passd August 29, 2024 will be held Saturday, September 7, 2024, 2:00 p.m. at Greater St. Peter A.M.E. Church, 9540 Fayetteville Road, Jonesboro, Georgia; Pastor Henry Reddix, Eulogist and Bishop Collier Starks, Officiant. Interment, private. A viewing will be held Friday, September 6, 2024 from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Legacy Funeral Home Chapel, 8968 Fayetteville Road, Jonesboro, Georgia. Survivors are his wife, Jeraldine Porter; two sons, Eric (Katie) Porter and Marcus (Dennessa) Porter; grandchildren, Solomon Porter, Danielle Porter, Dorien Porter, Eryqa Porter, Amiah Porter, Bella Porter, Kameran Brown, and Zoya (Kevin) Reid; sisters, Evelyn Porter, Shirley Johnson and Betty Williams; and a host of great grandchildren, other loving relatives and friends. Family and friends are asked to assemble at the church at 1:45 p.m.
