LEA:  A Celebration of Life service honoring the Life and Legacy of Mr. Edwin Lea, Jr. of Fayetteville, Georgia and a Morganza, Louisiana native will be held Saturday, September 14, 2024, 11:00 am at The Olivet Church, 877 Highway 314 Fayetteville, Georgia; Dr. William H. Robinson, Pastor and Officiant. Interment, Westminster Memorial Gardens, Peachtree City, Georgia. Remains will lie in repose from 9:00 am until the hour of service. A public viewing will be held Friday, September 13, 2024 from 1:00 pm to 6:00 pm at Legacy Funeral Home, 8968 Fayetteville, Road, Jonesboro, Georgia. Survivors are his beloved wife of 33 years, Dr. Janice Lea; children, Nicholas Ricard (Lindsey) Lea, Whitney Goines, and Dr. Christopher Ricard Lea; grandchildren, Nicholas Lea, Jr., Ava Goines and Zoe Goines; siblings, Ruth L. (Anthony) Oliver, Elsie Lea (Wesley) Bryant, and Archon (Dwight) Auzenne; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles, and a host a host of loving friends.  Family and friends are asked to assemble at the church at 10:45 am.
