BARNES: A Service honoring the Life and Legacy of Mr. Edward Leotis Barnes of Hampton, Georgia who passed July 19, 2024 will be held Tuesday, July 30, 2024, 11:00 a.m. at Legacy Funeral Home, 8968 Fayetteville Road Jonesboro, Georgia; Dr. Eric G. Vickers, Sr., Officiant and Ms. Donna Smith, Eulogist. Interment, Wednesday, July 31, 2024, 11:00 a.m. Georgia National Cemetery, Canton, Georgia. Viewing will be held Monday, July 29, 2024 from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Legacy Funeral Home. Survivors are one daughter, Edwina M. Barnes; sisters, Betty Barnes, Jeanette Pike; Lenora Barnes, Donna Smith, and Diana Satterfield; brothers, Ollie Barnes, Jr., Thomas Barnes, and Milton Barnes; and a host of nieces, nephews, other loving relatives and friends. Family and friends are asked to assemble at the chapel at 10:45 a.m.
