SCOTT:  A Service honoring the Life and Legacy of Mr. Bennie Lee Scott of Hampton, Georgia will be held Saturday, March 16, 2024, 11:00 a.m. at Legacy Funeral Home Chapel, 8968 Fayetteville Road, Jonesboro, Georgia Rev. Willie Cornell and Lee Moore, officiants and eulogists. Interment, Rose Garden Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until the hour of service. Survivors are his wife, Betty Ann Scott; three sons, Derrick Scott, Tony (Jacqueline) Connell, and Steve Connell; six granddaughters, April Scott, Stephanie Rollins, Jarkeshia Connell, Raven Connell, Shitera Bowden, and Allyse Scott; two sisters, Louise Smith, and Lizzie Lou (AC) Ellis; brother, Lee Moore; seven sisters-in-law, five brothers-in-law; extended family, Willie (Teresa JoAnn) Cornell, Miriam Chapman, Kristie Hammock, and The Moore Family; and a host of great-grandchildren, other loving relatives and friends. Family and friends are asked to assemble at the chapel at 10:00 a.m.
