Mr. Augustine Nzobiwu Obituary

NZOBIWU: With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our beloved husband and father, Augustine Oforka Nzobiwu, who departed this life peacefully on Sunday, May 11th, 2025, surrounded by loved ones. Born on September 9th, 1953, Oforka lived a life marked by love, generosity, and quiet strength. A devoted Pharmacist, he was known for his jovial spirit, deep care for others, and a lasting love of sports—especially tennis, which he played with joy. Though he faced illness in recent years, he remained surrounded by love, dignity, and unwavering support.

He is deeply missed and lovingly remembered by his wife Susan Ifeyinwa, his children Ifeoma, Chukwuemeka, Obiamaka, and Nneka, his grandchild Munachukwu, and his extended family of in-laws and siblings. We will carry his memory and the lessons of his life in our hearts always.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, June 7th, 2025, 12:00 p.m. at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Hapeville, Georgia. A viewing will be held Saturday, June 7th, 2025 from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. at Legacy Funeral Home, Inc. 8968 Fayetteville Road Jonesboro, Georgia. Interment, Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens in College Park, Georgia.

We welcome your prayers, love, and tributes, which can be shared with the family directly or online at
