WOODS: A Service honoring the Life and Legacy of Mr. Anthony Woods, Sr. of Atlanta, Georgia will be held Saturday, March 27, 2021, 11:00 a.m. at Philadelphia Independent Church of God In Christ, 3305 Old Jonesboro Road Fairburn, Georgia; Pastor Antonio Griffin, officiant; Pastor E.W. Hill, eulogist. Interment, Georgia National Cemetery. A viewing will be held Friday, March 26, 2021 from 9:00a.m. to 6:00p.m. at Legacy Funeral Home. Remains will lie in repose from 9:00a.m. until the hour of service. Survivors are his wife, Shelia Woods; two sons, Anthony (Ingrid) Woods, Jr. of Atlanta, Georgia and Antonio Woods III of Raleigh, North Carolina; three daughters, Antionette Woods of East Point, Georgia, Tamiria Woods of Atlanta, Georgia and Sherneria Woods of Atlanta, Georgia; mother-in-law, Elizabeth Smith of Atlanta, Georgia; stepdaughter, Tiffany Smith; seven grandchildren, Cavari Ellerbee, Zakai Ellerbee, Demir Ellerbee, Kash Ellerbee, Legacy Ellerbee, Zamarion Ellerbee and Jamiyah Stewart; three sisters, Pastor Marion C. William of Riverdale, Georgia, Pastor E.W. Hill of Fayetteville, Georgia and Carlene Woods of Plano, Texas; and a host of other loving relatives and friends. Family and friends are asked to assemble at the church at 10:30a.m.
