ASBERRY: A Homegoing Celebration for Mr. Albert J. Asberry, Jr. of Riverdale, Georgia will be held Saturday, January 4, 2020, 12:00 noon at Shiloh Baptist Church, 5222 Koweta Road Atlanta, Georgia Pastor LeZaire D. Reese, officiating. Interment, Lakeside Memorial Gardens. Remains will lie in repose from 11:00a.m. until the hour of service. The family will receive friends TONIGHT from 7 to 8 p.m. at Legacy Chapel, 8968 Fayetteville Rd., Jonesboro, Georgia. Survivors are his daughter, Carolyn Fears; sons, Anthony Butler, Alfred Washington, Alvin Asberry (Miyoshi), Christopher Asberry and Marcus Asberry; three brothers, Charlie Asberry (Jacquelyn), Henry Asberry, and Larry Asberry; four sisters, Mary Jackson, Jeanette Thomas, Geneva Flagg (Randolph) and Elois Harris; daughter-in-law, Marie Asberry; brother-in-law, James Butler; sisters-in-law, Eddie Mae Love, Vivian Jarvis and Elicious Gardner; thirty-one grandchildren, thirty-eight great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Family and friends are asked to assemble at the church at 11:30 a.m.
