GOODSON: A Celebration Service honoring the Life and Legacy of Minister James Allen Goodson, Jr.  of Hampton, Georgia who passed October 23, 2023 will be held Saturday, October 28, 2023, 11:00 a.m. at Solid Rock Church Of God In Christ, 1915 Rock Cut Place, Conley, Georgia; Elder Arnold Ruffin, Pastor and Officiant. Interment, Sherwood Memorial Park. Remains will lie in repose from 9:00 a.m. until the hour of service. Viewing will be held Friday, October 27, 2023 from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Legacy Funeral Home Chapel, 8968 Fayetteville Road, Jonesboro, Georgia. Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Lynn Goodson; sister, Ardell Hightower; brother, Darnell (JCarole) Cherry; mother-in-law, Lillian Barnes; brother-in-law, Steven Nickerson, Henry Hicks, and Lonnie Hicks; sister-in-law, Shanell Barnes; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other loving relatives, co-workers, and friends. Family and friends are asked to assemble at the church at 10:30 a.m.
