PARKER: A Celebration Service honoring the Life and Legacy of Elder Karl Sylvester Parker of Atlanta, Georgia who passed July 10, 2026 will be held Saturday, July 25, 2026, 11:00 a.m. at Legacy Funeral Home Chapel, 8968 Fayetteville Road Jonesboro, Georgia; Pastor Earnest Gissendanner, Officiant and Pastor Donald King, Eulogist. Interment, Seaboard, North Carolina. A viewing will take place Friday, July 24, 2026, 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Legacy Funeral Home Chapel. Survivors are his wife, Beverly Parker; mother, Carrie Parker; daughter, Shannon Moore; son, Brandon Ellis; grandchildren, Joshua Clemmons, Anique Gay, Areion Moore, Genesis Moore; great-grandson, Chanze Clemmons; siblings, Prince Parker, Jerry (Monica) Parker, Sherby Brown, Gertie Cotten and Carrie Bolden; sister-in-law, Mattie Strozier; brother-in-law, Amos Paige Jr., along with other loving relatives and friends. Family and friends are asked to assemble at the chapel at 10:30  a.m.
