GASKIN: A Celebration of Life Service honoring Deacon Larry Gaskin, Sr. of Atlanta, Georgia will be held Friday, January 2, 2026, 12:00 noon at Divine House of Praise Church, 3447 Ruby Harper Boulevard, Atlanta, Georgia; Senior Pastor Britannia F. Brengettsy, Eulogist. Interment, Forest Hills Memorial Gardens. Remains will lie in repose from 11:00 a.m. until the hour of Service. Viewing will be held Thursday, January 1, 2026 from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Legacy Funeral Home, 8968 Fayetteville Road Jonesboro, Georgia. Survivors are his devoted wife, Sallie Keith Gaskin; his children, Marshall Carrington (Vontressia), Larry Gaskin, Jr., Anthony Carrington, Chiquita Renee’ Gaskin Franklin (Zyki), and Taiwan Hall Carmichael; his beloved grandchildren, Jaylen Franklin, Jabari Franklin, Layla Franklin, Josiah Franklin, Lauren Gaskin, Lacey Gaskin, Ariel Carrington, Fasion Carrington, Deion Carrington, and Cameron Carrington; and one treasured great-grandchild, Syn’Cere Franklin “Little Larry”; his siblings, Clarence Gaskin, Jr. (Annie), Jack H. Gaskin (Loretta), Moses Gaskin (Velda), Bernard Gaskin (Laverne), Celia Gaskin Kennedy, and Jennifer Ambroise; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and dear friends. Family and friends are asked to assemble at the church at 11:30 a.m.
