REID: A Service Celebrating the Life and Legacy of Deacon Ernest M. Reid of East Point, Georgia who passed April 14, 2022 will be held Saturday, April 23, 2022, 11:00 a.m. at St. Mark Baptist Church, 688 Donald Lee Hollowell Pkwy, NW Atlanta, Georgia Rev. Leroy Barnes, Pastor; and Minister Lisa Hernandez, officiating. Interment, Lakeside Memorial Gardens. Viewing will be held Friday, April 22, 2022 from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Legacy Chapel, 8968 Fayetteville Road Jonesboro, Georgia. Survivors are his wife, Barbara Reid; daughter, Gwendolyn Hunt; sons, Andre Reid (Tamekia) and Demetrius Reid (LaShandra); blended family, Gwendolyn Gaines, Johnny Terry (Carla) and Keanna Cheeley; sister, Carolyn Reid; brothers, Squire Reid, Anthony Reid (Wanda), Forest Reid (Barbara), Thomas Reid (Quennie) and James Reid; and a host of other loving family and friends. Family and friends are asked to assemble at the church at 10:30 a.m.
