ADAMS: A Service honoring the Life and Legacy of Deacon Edward James Adams of Jonesboro, Georgia who passed March 12, 2026 will be held Saturday, March 21, 2026, 12:00 noon at Philadelphia Independent Church Of God In Christ, 3305 Old Jonesboro Road Fairburn, Georgia; Dr. E. W. Hill, Pastor and Eulogist and Pastor Antione Griffin, Officiant. Interment, Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens. A viewing will be held Friday, March 20, 2026 from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Legacy Funeral Home, 8968 Fayetteville Road Jonesboro, Georgia. Survivors are his son, Travis Harrell (Bridgett); one granddaughter, Macie Harrell; one grandson, Darryl Farley; one great-granddaughter, Grayson  Harrell of Riverdale, Georgia; three sisters, Jeannie Mae McKenzie “Eunice”, Maggie Lean Webb of Unadilla, Georgia, and Willie Dean Griffin of Riverdale, Georgia; dear friends, James (Delores) Wells of Fayetteville, Georgia; and a host of nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends. Family and friends are asked to assemble at the church at 11:30 a.m.
